Welcome to My Nightmare és el primer àlbum d'Alice Cooper com a solista. Va ser publicat l'11 de març de 1975 després de la separació dels antics integrants de l'Alice Cooper band, dissolta per diferències musicals. Conté una eclèctica barreja de diversos estils com el folk, la psicodèlia, o un hard rock lleugerament més endurit que el de la seva anterior formació, de manera que buscava crear un impacte a l'oient. Va comptar amb la presència vocal de Vincent Price al tema "The Black Widow".
El treball estava articulat com un àlbum conceptual, en què tots els talls giraven al voltant d'una mateixa història, en què el protagonista "Steven" s'enfrontava als seus malsons més sòrdids.
Durant el mateix any, es va publicar un xou per promocionar el disc, incloent el senzill "Billion Dollar Babies" per recordar l'època dels integrants originals de la banda.
